Emmaus Table is a community in the Green Lake neighborhood of North Seattle. At Emmaus Table, people of all ages, races, classes, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions are welcomed. They commit to God’s vision of justice that demands radical hospitality, racial healing, and liberation for the oppressed. They come together to practice hospitality in order to encounter Jesus in the stranger made friend. Through Baking Church, Communion, and other forms of worship, prayer, and action Emmaus Table seeks to ease loneliness, dispel isolation, and foster connections. All are welcome.

Emmaus Table at 7400 Woodlawn is a spiritual community, exploring faith in creative ways through conversation, communion, and service. They are located in the former Bethany Lutheran Church building in the heart of the Green Lake neighborhood of north Seattle.

Emmaus Table is spiritual community exploring faith in creative ways through conversation, communion, and service. They are a neighborhood-rooted, inclusive, inter-generational, open and affirming, Reconciling-in-Christ worship community grounded in a Lutheran expression of following Jesus and connected with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Baking Church happens every first Saturday and Dinner Church every third Saturday!

What else happens at 7400 Woodlawn?

7400 Woodlawn is home to a collective of non-profit organizations. The Center for Community, Arts, and Spirituality is an urban center in care of ‘shared space’ that promotes mutual flourishing for partners, neighbors, and community. They envision a just world with equitable access to the arts, education, and spiritual communities.

Over 550 people regularly make use of this community space, across 19 partner organizations including The Children’s School, St. Mary’s Tigrayan Orthodox Church, The Flowstate Foundation, Flow Church, choirs, bands, and baking groups.
